The trail portion of the bike course will consist of Loops 2, 3, and 4 of Squabble Creek. Loop 1 is the most technical of the Squabble loops, and will most likely not be used for this event this year. There are no significant climbs or descents involved. Loops 2, 3, and 4 are fairly flat, but have a lot of turns. While hybrid bikes with tires suitable for dirt should be able to handle this course, a MTB is still preferable.
Anyone know anything about the trail portion of the race? Race info says bring your MTB or hybrid so I'm guessing it's nothing technical, but would appreciate any first hand knowledge someone may be willing to share. Thanks.
