FS: 2006 Giant Anthem 1 (Medium)

I’m selling my Giant Anthem 1 (2006 model) in order to send my stepchildren, Jake (13) and Alex (10), on a mission trip to Arizona this summer through our church, Hope Fellowship in Frisco. The mission trip will cost my family $400.00 per child, so I’m asking $800.00 (non-negotiable) for the bike, which cost upward of $4,000.00 new.

It has always been expertly maintained by Plano Cycling & Fitness. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves (see below), but I’d rate it 7/10 cosmetically (due to scratches and peeling of decals on the fork) and 10/10 mechanically (no kidding, it works perfectly). The bike has a brand-new front tire, and recently replaced rear tire, middle chainring, shifter cables and rear brake pads. For an additional $100.00, I will throw in the used but newish Crank Brothers Candy SL pedals, bottle cage and computer shown the pictures. This bike has always gotten rave reviews (see link below). I’ve raced the bike and can only fault my average placings on my skill and fitness levels, as the bike has always done its part perfectly.

If the bike has to be shipped, I will pay to have Plano Cycling & Fitness pack it prior to shipping. The buyer will pay actual shipping costs. I can ship the bike via UPS cheaper than most people can so I recommend UPS, but I will ship using your preferred carrier.
