Type
Single Track – Single Loop
Distance
2.2 miles
Description
This is a two mile clockwise loop for bikes counter clock wise for foot traffic that winds around 25 acres of the park. It's fairly twisty and has numerous off camber ups and downs. The lap ends with two sustained climbs back to the trailhead. The trail is suitable for all skill levels. It is not a technical trail but can be an aerobic challenge. A large white sign at the trailhead details the IMBA rules or the trail. Be a pal and follow the rules, we all win that way.
Facilities include a beautiful pavilion complex with picnic table land BBQ grills as well as restrooms. There is also the first phase of concrete trails which totals approx. 1.25 miles. Several years ago an additional Phase two of concrete tails and an overlook on the north side of the park were added. Combined, the concrete trail now totals about two miles which makes for some great riding in addition to the DORBA trail.
At present, work days are on an as needed basis. If you would like to be a "friend of the trail" or DORBA "super dude" please feel free to contact the trail steward.

Location
There's so much water on the upper part of the trail that it may take a good 3 weeks without rain for this thing to dry out. Oddly enough the trail down by the creek is in perfect shape.
It rained again last night and this morning. Don't c o u n t on it being open any time soon.
I walked a little of the trail near the top and my shoes didn't take long to get caked so I left.
The cold weather isn't helping the trail dry.
Is this trail ever going to open? Any updates since December?
The standing water is where riders were bad boys and girls and rode when they shouldn't have. Hence, the deep ruts are trapping and holding water. Now we have to go fix it. The hill sides are still seeping water, particularly the down hill side of the bench @ the top of the climb.
Wow, it still has standing water today.
I was wondering the same...?
Any new information on trail status since 11/28?
Still closed today - and with rain forecast, the cycle begins again...

Rode the pave trails at night at Arbor Hills yesterday. You can see lots of water all over the place in the dirt along side the pave trail. Its going to take at least 2+ weeks for things to dry out for us to ride dirt again. There is plenty of wet spots on the pave trail were water is sipping out of the hill side onto the trail.
cheers
