Location
Yep, was good yesterday.BUT...I got 1/2 inch last night (Sunday night 2-28).So, lets get some sun before we go back out.And let's stay off the red till we get it armored up or it actually dries. Drying might be weeks of sun as the biggest wet spots are from small springs uphill from the wet spots...
I walked a good portion of the orange and it was tacky but good to ride.I also bet white to yellow (except for the big dip on yellow) will be good to go. The green loop being on top is probably good as well.I think it has been cleared of down fall.Jeep road is a NO NO! New section off Yellow and up the hill I did not get to look at... It might be a bit wet as it is new. Red is NOT open.Still got trees down and standing/running water in places. I am not saying it is open, but, orange to white to yellow looks pretty good. You ride in the mud, Shadow catches you, he will make you fix all of the bad spots.... Hear me??(teehee)
Checked it out today and was able to ride some as well. Orange/white to green, to white/yellow, etc. is in good shape. :-)
Green is in great shape and cleared of all deadfall; it is just a bit tacky but great.
The last dip after the switchbacks on yellow is muddy, but somewhat avoidable. The big dip at the end of yellow crossing the jeep road is indeed a mess. Should possibly think about removing the white arrow at the yellow split, or at least turn it around to face the yellow, since following the white arrow leads you right in to the jeep road mess. Also, should probably widen the rocks to the left, and extend it further up the trail about 4-5 feet more, where it is very muddy still.
Hollywood & Mr. Neidel rode red, and cleared out more deadfall. Also saw 2 other folks that had done some clearing of red. Red is now clear of all deadfall but still very muddy.
Blue is muddy as well from what another person told me.
It was a beautiful day on a beautiful trail! Well worth a ride to get some dirt on orange/white/green/yellow.
Of course, rain is predicted for tonight. :-(

Probably because posting it open will prompt too many people to ride even the muddy sections.
Why is this still closed
So if it was more or less ridable yesterday, and today is supposed to be 73 and sunny, might we be hopeful that the trail will be open tomorrow morning?
what Killian said....just stay off the Red Loop and the bottom loops. Otherwise, the top is good. Disclaimer: I asked Shadow his permission at the trailhead to check BCW out, I wasn't just going to ride a "closed" trail.
The orange loop is delightfully tacky. Will try the white to yellow now.
Heading out in an hour and would love some trail time in Cedar Hill. What say you, Shadow?
Did you check it out......I was unable to....work got busy.
I will be out there Thurs morning around 10.....will post up what I find via calling someone sitting in front of a computer....LOL.
Same here - last minute network issues. If there's no new info befor 3:30, I'll go see for myself and post from my blackberry.

Hmm....can`t say I`ve seen a trail in dorbaville open when it`s pouring down rain before.
Maybe it`s a typo. Or maybe it isn`t raining in cedar hill.
