Article III.
Membership, Section 1. Membership Process. Membership in DORBA shall be by application and will require payment of dues as specified by the Board of Directors. All members will be accepted upon completion of the application and payment of dues, but may be removed from the Membership for failure to pay dues or for conduct deemed to be unsuitable by the Board of Directors. Any decision to remove members will be in the sole discretion of the Board of Directors and will be final with no other appeal. While the right of free speech is granted under the United States Constitution, as a private organization, DORBA and its Board maintain the right to protect and value DORBA’s vision, mission, and interests by monitoring its on-line presence. These polices are not intended to, nor in anyway meant to prohibit anyones ability to contribute to the online discussions within the DORBA forums. The DORBA Forum and other online media will be moderated in a manner serves to further the vision, mission, and general interests of DORBA at the direction of the Board of Directors.
Online Moderation is intended to:
- Protect and further the overall vision and mission of the club
Protect and further the value of DORBA’s online media and content
Protect individual members from exposure to unreasonable content or harassment
The Board and its designated Moderators reserve the right to edit, move, lock or delete posts and threads for any reason, at any time. DORBA reserves the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason. If you are troubled with something somebody has posted in a thread, please email or send a Private Message (PM) to a Moderator describing your concern and provide a link to the thread so that the Moderator can quickly locate it. All posts to the forum should be considered the OPINION of the author, and not necessarily that of DORBA or its Board. Coarse and insulting language (or dialogue), photographs, links and videos will not be tolerated, the definition and interpreatation of this is left strictly to the DORBA Board and its designated Moderators. Access to the DORBA forum is a privilege. DORBA reserves the right to remove the privilege of access to the forum. The serving Board of Directors reserve the right to edit, add, delete, clarify, define and/or interpret all of the above.
